How to pay for college is a question most students are concerned with. Where will the money come from? Is there financial aid? How do I qualify? The financial aid process can be a bit confusing at times. But we are here to assist you in determining the answers to your questions. 95% of students at CCC receive some form of financial aid.

Types of financial aid available

  • Pell Grants
  • FSEOG Grants
  • Cal-Grants
  • Institutional and Private Scholarships.
  • Work Study (limited)
  • Student Loans (Stafford, Plus, etc)

Financial Aid Eligibility

In general, to qualify for financial aid:

  • A student must have demonstrated financial need.
  • A student must be a US citizen or eligible non-resident.
  • A student must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • A student must meet qualifications for specific grants, scholarships or loans.
  • A student must apply and be admitted to California Christian College.
  • A student must meet any other qualifications as indicated by the federal and state governments and California Christian College.

How do I apply for Financial Aid?

To apply for aid, follow the instructions below.

  • Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or fill out the online version at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
  • Submit the FAFSA anytime after January 2nd for the next school year.
  • List California Christian College on the FAFSA. Enter our college code 014128 where it is asked for.
  • (California Residents) Have your high school or college submit the GPA verification form to the state prior to March 2nd to be considered for Cal-Grant.
  • Fill out other forms as directed by the Financial Aid office.

Please note that some awards have application deadlines. Watch for those deadlines. Apply for Admission Early.
